Our community-based program for adults and seniors, seeks an individual to deliver medical care as part of a multi-disciplinary team.  The person in this position will travel to private homes and low income housing complexes within the Durham community to screen, identify and treat health conditions. An ideal candidate for this position is someone with excellent oral and written communications skills, good customer service skills, and the ability to relate to people of varied socio-economic backgrounds.  Applicants should be registered as a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina with approval to practice from the North Carolina Medical Board. Reliable transportation is required and at least 2 years of experience in internal or geriatric medicine is preferred.

We are seeking an individual to provide nursing and administrative support for our three community-based health clinics. Clinical duties include direct nursing services for assigned patients under the supervision of a physician and/or advanced practice provider. Administrative responsibilities include answering the phones, patient check-in, colleting copays etc. The person in this role will float between locations as assigned providing nursing care on a daily basis and front office backup as needed.  The position requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program with subsequent certification from a certifying agency.  At least one year of experience working in a clinical office-setting with fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
